I've said it before on here...if they reckon using the phone is equivalent to being over the drink drive limit which is automatic ban, then why not with phone use !!!!!

Just thought i'd add that the pic of the (what looks like a cop) on his mobile was in fact a prop van and actor from a tv scene, he may of done this on purpose to put the police in a bad light,

I've seen a real cop texting/interwebing while waiting at the lights. He saw me looking so I shook my head, the look back said f*** you!

To put that in perspective, using a two way or cb radio whilst driving isn't illegal... a natural progression of legal exemption would most likely include any device being used for operational purposes... pdas and the like
