James and I will be at mine most of the morning working on my 2.2, taxi drivers 2.2 & CraigR's... we will pop over later though.
OK cool, Elite Pete, Timbuk (possibly mikedundee) & myself are looking into staying over locally & having a night out, so we'll probably be around.....

Premier Inn at Brackley Hatch could be good for you, not sure on prices but its right next door (literally) to the Green Man pub.

Very famous... Graham Hill used to go for a pint there before the race at Silverstone which is just down the road

Prices are £50 per twin room plus £7.50 for a buffet breakfast which sounds good to me :y

Excellent, good prices that  :)

Parking at the scrappy might be problem, they tend to be busy at the weekend, so i'd say 2/3 cars max really to go to the scrappy.

But to save on petrol might as well just take 1 or 2 depending on who wants to go!

I am willing to do a run down the scrappy in the Senny:

The Crown Hotel is in Brackley Town Centre, about 1.5 miles from my place (easily walkable).

I'm surprised its thats cheap, sure thats not each?

Both the Travellodge on the M40 services and Premier Inn at Silverstone are both around 5 or 6 miles, and I don't know of taxis around here....

Hi tunnie,

Am I too late - possible stroke of luck, hotels booked for Sat night, so I could turn up in the morning on Sat afterall - with my new belt kit, aux belt, water pump + 5l of antifreeze  :y

What do you reckon?

Cheers,

Chris
