Omega General Help / 2.2 dti injectors
« on: 17 January 2010, 09:37:39 »
Been looking at a 2.2 dti which is crap on tickover (lumpy) but then clears and seems to run fine.
What sort of a job is it to do,price wise i mean?i know on some makes it can be very costly, also what else could cause this?
Thanks chaps and chapesses.

Omega General Help / Alloys fitment
« on: 04 November 2009, 12:02:07 »
Right then been looking for some 17" alloys for the old mini f/l estate to perk it up a bit.
Looked through a few of the fitment guides for the 5 stud and it would seem to me that the Vectra 2002 onwards are the same fitment.

Omega

after 94

5x110

35 to 38

65.1

Vectra / Sigrum

after 02

5x110

35 to 38

65.1

Any pitfalls as i have chance of a set for decent money,ta very much.

Omega General Help / Which Diff???
« on: 03 November 2009, 10:25:16 »
Right, going to replace the noisy diff on my 1999 2.0 estate.
I need to know what others will fit,got chance of one out of a 2002 td estate.
Is there a difference between models, years, etc,i expect auto to be geared different but need to know what options are.

Omega General Help / 99 estate noisy diff
« on: 30 October 2009, 14:30:47 »
New to the forum and just got a 1999 2.0ltr estate.
The problem being the diff is very noisy and i am looking at changing it as the rest of the car is spot on.
Any ideas on which others fit and fitting tips, will have access to a pit and a mechanic mate to help,oh and any forum friendly breakers?
While i'm on anyone know what sort of mpg i can expect on a mixed run of motorway and a/b roads normal ish driving.

Thanks for now.
