I purchased one of these clicky a few years back ,
does quite a decent job recovering batteries that have gone low (lead acid)

it does sound like DG's battery is toast though  :(

Well, it ended up at 11.2v today :D

Looks like 11.2/4v is its limit, which suggests that it's basically done :-\

Thats just a battery charger, no 'recovery' magic  :y
