Wanted: Pre-facelift Estate Rear Seat Back
« on: 28 January 2014, 18:07:35 »

Anyone got/know of one like this:

Must be complete with a working centre seat belt.

Here's the exact pattern:

Would happily accept any pattern/colour, so long as it's cloth.

What's the problem with it :-\

The lock that secures the seat back to the body is totally shot (no-one here's owning-up to this) >:(
And the ball/spring in the belt reel's beyond redemption ... somehow. There ain't no spring action in it >:(

Followed your guide to dismantle thus far.

And thanks Al ;)

Easiest and most practical solution is to swop-out the seat-back IMHO.

Followed your guide to dismantle thus far.

Ah ok... that would do it :-\

Could swap cover onto any other seat back if easier to get hold of rather than trying to match it :y

Happy to do that Al ... just need to sort a complete seat-back first.

Steve at OSP Heathrow's got one from a F/L MV6 which I'm reliably informed will do the job, but it's minus the seat-belt reel. That said, he's confident of being able to supply one of these too.

If anyone is likely to have one, Steve will :y
