Just worked out that the original omega estate wheel  bearing I am soon to change has done circa
158 million revolutions during it's lifetime on the car covering 200,000 miles .

Possibly got to add a few more though  for all the distance it has done in reverse     . . . or does the odometer still clock up in reverse ?

17" alloys fitted with 235 x 45 x 17 tyres . . . for anyone who wants to double check for me

I get 159,396,226 rotations. Your reverse mileage is included in this, as the sensor just reads the trigger, it doesn't care which around it's going.

63360 (inches in a mile) x 200,000 (miles) / 79.5 (Circumference in inches)

I did say Circa 

I used a Google tyre circumference calculator which said 799 revs per mile from that size tyre

Actual sum was 159,800,000  . . .  should have put Circa 160 million

Have you allowed for the difference in rolling radius between tyre brands, and as the tyre wears in use?

Thinking now that tyre pressure would maybe vary results slightly as well . 

But 160 Million is close enough for my initial curiosity .  Ball Park Figure comes to mind
