My Omega. Owned it since 2011 here in Windhoek, Namibia. I'm busy replacing HG this week to travel to Zimbabwe, to bury my dad who passed on this week (24 August 2014). :(

thanks buck! You know, they are countable Omegas in the city of Windhoek. i know there 8 Omegas i remember seeing since the time i owned mine 4 years ago... i have been counting... you see 1 in like ,,,6 months or so. (Namibia as a country has 2.5 million people in total).
All of them with an Opel badge.... i'm told only 2 were ever sold at the local dealership.... the rest are imports...

Although the circumstances of your trip are sad, that's a fantastic road trip! :y

Indeed Sir Tigger.... ;). that's the exact shortest route... i bet you travelled these roads before.... :y
Sadly, i have not been able to go on time and bury my dad :( . because lots of money were needed for hospital costs and also to repatriate his body from Johannesburg, South Africa to Harare, Zimbabwe. i paid that bill. So i didn't go yet. Will be going for the memorial service on 4 October in a month's time...
In the meantime, i'm also attending to Omega issues, want to clean Oil Pressure Release Valve and Oil pickup pipe and strainer because Oil Light is coming. SO can you please tell me if that there in the picture below is the Oil Pressure Release Valve?? how do i remove it and how do you recommend i clean it??
