Hello everybody, looking for what appears to be the holy grail of Omega spare parts - A headlight level sensor with the multiblock attached...
It's for a 2002 2.5TD Estate in great shape apart from this sensor...
Any help greatly appreciated.

One has just appeared in the for sale section. Have a look in the "bits & pieces" thread. :y

Look on Ebay for seller "Omega52" he usually sells them, if not advertised just ask him. They aren't cheap though!!

Does the wiring plug of a new sensor match the original? Or do you still have to bodge it?

I had to join the wiring together, but I cannot remember why now! ::) ::) ;)
I will soon have to fit a new one to my current miggie, so will find out why yet again! ;D ;D

Precisely why I nabbed the sensors off the bullet before it was sent to Mr Beanz's factory...

Only pic is here showing the new sensor wires (courtesy of LZ :))

Just a question of either removing the old connector to join wires or splicing in further up past the connector

Nice to see my picture again :y :y
I deleted this from my system some time ago, but it reminds me that I just cut the wires and soldered them together then wrapped them tightly with electrical installation tape and a cable tie. ;)
Got to do it again soon on my current Omega.

If you do it again LZ, for pity's sake use heatshrink, not electrical tape ;D
