Title: Headlight Level Aim Sensor
Post by: sirpentland on 13 July 2017, 16:20:56: Hello everybody, looking for what appears to be the holy grail of Omega spare parts - A headlight level sensor with the multiblock attached...
It's for a 2002 2.5TD Estate in great shape apart from this sensor...
Any help greatly appreciated.

Does the wiring plug of a new sensor match the original? Or do you still have to bodge it?

I had to join the wiring together, but I cannot remember why now! ::) ::) ;)

I will soon have to fit a new one to my current miggie, so will find out why yet again! ;D ;D

Terminal #1 Grey
# 2 not used
# 3 not used
# 4 Black
# 5 Red
# 6 not used

Existing wires:
Brown/Grey Tracer
Brown/Red Tracer
Black/Brown Tracer

Connect terminal #1 to grey tracer wire, terminal #5 to red tracer, terminal #4 to brown tracer

Just a question of either removing the old connector to join wires or splicing in further up past the connector

Nice to see my picture again :y :y

I deleted this from my system some time ago, but it reminds me that I just cut the wires and soldered them together then wrapped them tightly with electrical installation tape and a cable tie. ;)

Got to do it again soon on my current Omega.
