Title: Nightmare week
Post by: Zirfeld on 27 October 2017, 18:08:11
Last Monday I found my wife nearly dead when I returned from work late in the evening. A few seconds I was in panic, but I switched over in the rescue mode, alarm call, heart massage. The boys came within 5 minutes, carrying a mobile intensive station.

They did great work, many many "Dankeschoen". Alarm driving is not easy, I was on board, thanx to the driver.

I stayed by my wife the hole night in hospital. She comes back.

That must have been such a fright, and something that most of us have feared sometime in our lives involving our loved ones.

Thank goodness they pulled your wife around and I hope all will be well now. :y

All the best to you both :-*  :)

I'm delighted to hear, following your other post, that she's on the road to recovery. Wishing her a quick, full recovery, and hopefully given this scare, she will be closely monitored by the medical profession, and medicated if necessary to reduce the chances of it happening again.

I really feel for you, Rolf. If I put myself in your position.........well.....it doesn’t bear thinking about. Look after her, and make sure you do everything in your power to prevent it happening again. And think how she would feel if it was the other way around.....and look after yourself.

Terrible shocks like this where we all think we are invincible (I've been there) are a good time to take stock of you and your wife's lives, listen to the doctors and post-trauma experts to work out the small lifestyle changes that can make a big difference to daily diets and exercise routines. I sincerely wish your wife a speedy and full recovery and both of you many more long happy times together. :y :y :y

OOF is a strong community and your insightful and valued contributions mean we value you as part of our Omega community, take good care Rolf. :y :y :y
