Omega General Help / Re: Spax lowering springs

No that's just it. I don't wana go that low. I just want to firm it up without wrecking the ride quality.  So would one of the atfer market sets be too stiff compared to the MV6's?
And can anyone vouch for the difference between elite and mv6 feel?

Does no one have an opinion on this then?

Thing is, the peddle test will show you the codes stored that are Present, Intermittent and Not Present.  So you could have changed parts that have previously been a problem or had a slight 'hiccup'.

TBH mate your better off spending the money getting the car diagnosed properly instead of throwing money at sensors, here 'n' there.

Having said that, it's very possible that the actual cat(s) are knackered, (given the fact you have had 4 new O2 sensors), hence you cant get the light to go away, but without having the light/fault code(s) cleared you won't get to the bottom of it

I getting worried  :o. I've booked mine in for Friday. How did you manage to watch them? I thought they didn't allow customers in the bay. I will want to watch what they are doing. I'll let you know how I get on.

Really I just wouldn't bother. Even if you have to pay an extra £20 for a specialist or proper garage or even Vauxhall.  I wish I had.  They are notoriously shite!!!!!!

Thing is, I know they're shite from previous experience too, but I work away all week and wanted it done quick.  I'll take it back Saturday and get them to check it again.  It's supposed to hold 950g's but at at 545g's (I was watching the machine - it was struggling to get past that figure) he was just kinda stareing at it then stopped it.  When he switched it off it displayed the amount of gas and oil recovered and it was zero, although there was gas still in there beforehand. I knew I shouldn't have taken it there!

Has it done sunday.  When he released the hoses the lttle ball valve got stuck and whilst the guy went to fetch a little screw driver to dislodge it, it was hissing out gas.  Now; it is colder but I dont think as cold as what it should be.  Any advice? Or if I take it back are thay just guna fob me off

Omega General Help / Gearbox ecu updat
« on: 29 June 2011, 20:42:10 »
I've read, with some interest, various posts about updating the software on the 'box ecu. Thing is, not sire where to go to get it done. I'm pretty sure my local dealer(s) would fob me off or not know enough about them to do it. Failing that, is there anyone from here who has the know how??

OK thanks.  I'm after pretty much all replacement items;
Plugs
Air, oil, fuel and pollen filters
1X5 ltr 5w/30 oil
2X1 ltr 5w/30 oil
plug washer
and some trans fluid (as a top up)

Do the leads have a specified replacement interval?

How do I get a trade card?
