If you could drive a manual,try a renault 5/11 1.4 turbo,if you could find 1,from personal experience my 11 was very quick at pulled upto 135mph very quickly on my personal test track.

Had some fun the other week,took the 4wd off road and tried out the new tyres and wheels i got of ebay for £51,they certainly helped to get to some places a land rover couldnt get up,here some pics
The new wheels and tyres,just waiting to get a new pair of matching mud tyres so as to put steel as spare and put alloy back on.
Steepest part of the offroad course we were on,and steeper than it looks
At the balance point opposite wheels off the ground,sorry cant see the front but it was happening tho.
