Brought the above  just over a week ago ,nothing but problems,had p2002 fault code,fixed that at weekend,on the friday last week had to call out rac,was running shit,no power and missing,he tightened down injectors as they were lose,today ive had serious engine malfunction warning come on ,got a code p042e code,cleared code drove home and now its not reving above 3000 rpm and sounds very noisy,any ideas as to what this could be?

Saw webby last week and borrowed his halfords card,whilst i was in wolverhampton this weekend popped in to halfords and got a 200 piece socket set for £125 instead of £350,very pleased with what you get in it  :y

Been busy at work,moved jobs nearly 3 months ago and moved in with the wife to be,so just had time to start working on the disco,so far its been lifted,and a/t's fitted,had to change rad last week as that had started to leak,also fitted a tube winch bumper ready for the winch,but the new project is rebuild current 300tdi engine,so sump is off,both manifolds are off and ready to remove head over the next few evenings,then order everything to rebuild the engine.

Thats bad driving,not all 4x4 drivers are bad tho,we just get tarred with the brush,i did notice on 1 off the facebook groups i am on ,were going to set up a fund giving page up for the 2 kids .

If gauges are sweeping when ignition is switched on,this normally points to a duff battery. :y

I would go for new system,the immobliser side can also play up at anytime,causing starting issues etc,although you can get the spider bypass its better to have a decent alarm/immobiliser/tracking system. More so these days with the amount off land rovers being stolen.

Join up to northants 4x4,you will have to post 3 times in newbie section before you can access forum and ask on there,im pretty sure you will get the right answer for faults,there is a lot of members clued up on the disco faults.  :y

Ive given in my notice at work and finish friday,had enough of being treated like a robot and not as human,but on the plus side i start a new job on monday,more money and with a family run business local to my home.
