Now, I am not a tecie so basic language and no shorthand please........
We have BT Broadband, everything is wireless; Miss Vamps has an Ipad, an Iphone and a laptop, seem to be no problems. swmbo tends to only be able to log on with BT fon, not our router? I have a laptop, no problems connecting to our system.
Printer's, yes we have two because one would not work through wireless, peed off I went and bought another one, was a bugger to set up and connect, but did do so eventually.
Few days ago my phone would not log onto our wireless. Eventually phoned India, he took us through re-setting the router? Everything worked, swmbo was able to connect to our system.
Next day, went to print, nothing, message saying off-line. Unplugged the router? for 15 seconds and hey ho, printer working, same story for 5 days. I should not have to do this everyday surly. Phoned India again, must be our equipment after some tooing and froing he have me the number for BT Tech, rang them and they want to charge me £30 for a minimum 3 month maintenance contract.
I insist it must be the router? as it works if I unplug it for 15 seconds...........
Sorry to be long winded, any suggestions? or could it be me!! and yes, getting another provider has crossed my mind...............
