They do, do them  :y

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/235-45-ZR17-97W-UNIROYAL-RainSport2-tyres-NEW-/270898157962?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&fits=Tyre+Width%3A235%7CAspect+Ratio%3A45%7CDiameter%3A17&hash=item3f12c9d98a#ht_980wt_1396

Or £378 for all 4.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/235-45-17-UNIROYAL-RAINSPORT2-94W-4-X-NEW-TYRES-/190686937199?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&fits=Tyre+Width%3A235%7CAspect+Ratio%3A45%7CDiameter%3A17&hash=item2c65d3c06f#ht_1430wt_1163

Thanks, Del and Cem. The Goodyears get very high marks from the people who have rated them (Over 90% on average).....and they seem long lasting too.

At £378 for four the Uniroyals are great value, but are not so highly rated as the Goodyears. Choices, gentlemen?

Got Nexen N6000's on my 3.2, £90 a corner, so far so good, grip well in all conditions, not road noise. My millage has plummeted, so no idea on wear yet. Old Falkens did 35k before becoming borderline, had Goodyear Eagle Venture's before that, much better, 48k! (on the 2.2 that is)

What's the difference between a 235/45/17 (Y94).........and Y97?. Some some unknown reason the Y97 is about £20 more expensive.

Unfortunately, your style of driving doesn't give me any indecation on tyre suitability of me though :-X ::)

The higher load rating will mean slightly stiffer side walls and therefore a slightly firmer ride... Doesn't suit everyone's taste though ;) If you're happy with the 94's currently fitted I would go for the same again ;)

Thanks, LD. I'm mighty tempted by Cem's advice. I can buy Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 2 size.... 235/45/17 94Y for £96.58 each....plus £11 for delivery for all four. They're highly rated.......then of course £10-£15 a corner to fit. :y

I'd for UniRoyals to be honest :y.

imo f1 tires gave good price performance ratio with good test results..

ps: if possible find a tire shop that balance the tires on the car , not on the machine alone..

I was pricing up some tyres for my new wheels and he offered me some " radar tyres" I have never heard of them.. Has anybody ?? He did show me a couple and there did have a nice tread pattern. I know that means nothing but at the moment money is tight and my wallet squeaks when i open it ;D
