You could always but the one you want and another one for parts. You then explain that it will cost nothing because by breaking the third one you will get the parts you need and by selling the rest it will actually cost nothing for the two extra cars. ::) ::) ::) :y :y ;D ;D ;D
( original idea by Lincs Robert)

She's not going to buy that is she ??? ;D ;D

Ok, here's the cunning plan (Baldrick?):-
If the desired 3.2 is the same colour as your existing 3.2, then when you buy this desired one, get plates made up with the same reg. no. as your existing 3.2 and when she sees the new car, she will be seeing double - and go off to SpecSavers........

Ron.

P.S. I have little confidence in that plan, but you might try it by not having both cars near each other?

Tell her (gulp  :o ), tell her . . .err . . tell her . . . . . .

Tell her . . . . . that you'll sell your Stratocaster to pay for it    :o

Just buy it.....and don't tell her.

It works, well sort of, well not very well in my case.

I bought a train and we were in a model shop in Nottingham, my young lad pointed at a model on the shelf and said to SWMBO, 'look, there is a train the same as daddy has bought'.......the shopping trip was cut short and the silent meals only lasted about 3 weeks.
