Commodity prices have fallen considerably due to weak demand, it is not confined to oil, so yes prices will be lower.

They are taking the pish mate  ;)
I had a pikey bastid bang on my door last week and offer me 100 notes to take away (what's left of) my scrapper.
After a quick chat, he said that scrap around here is currently running at 105 quid a ton  :)

wow !  :o :o :o :o :o . .  price has dropped .

I weighed in a bit of copper & brass last week but it was only down by about 10% from previous visit

Shame about the colour  . .  :'( :'( :'(

I think my krypton green  3.2 elite may look a bit odd with a couple of Burgundy doors on it ! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Worth a shout though  ;)

I do work for 2 different scrap yards and its bad. Over here its 50 a ton. Its goin to be worse than 2008. For, they reckon, a year as emr ( a big scrap dealer) is loading a boat as we speak, if it was set to rise they would have waited. Nobody is buying scrap and some of the big buyers around the world have started selling. Even copper is half the price it was here!
The price is dropping daily, from what they told me.

It appears that the scrap price of cars has dropped dramatically ...today i was quoted......£53.....£60....£80....for the complete desmond by 3 different scrap collections...and it runs and has an m.o.t untill august.......is this correct or is it a stitch up.... :-\ :-\

Surely, a running Omega will fetch £150 at least on ebay. What's wrong with it, for it to be scrapped?

Just ran my registration through Motorwise. Used them before and they were excellent.
£114 if I drive it to local scrappy or £33 if I take it to Congleton in Cheshire !

Prices are obviously way down.  :(
