any ideas as to why my desmond is blowing stone cold air to the rear seats and yet the front gets realy hot..i have looked at the list of faults on here but cant find one that helps with the rear heating..thanks..

Having a similar issue myself... It's been this way ever since changing the water pump / coolant. Doesn't really bother me but would be nice to get it fixed at some point. Although mine does blow warm air in the rear if you put a few RPMs on the accelerator pedal or while driving.

Might need the CC unit resetting....?

Think you need to press 'off' and 'auto' at the same time whilst switching on the ignition...

I forget the procedure TBH...

I have this in the 3.2 as well, Climate has been reset, the arm thingy under the dash has been checked to make sure that ok, there is no fault that can be found.

I might change the water pump on the 3.2, with it's next cambelt change (which is over-due on time) - As I have a gut feeling this is the issue for me, an air-block or something  :-\
