rear blind question

Will a shelf with a blind out of a preface fit in a facelift mv6? :)

I think the shelf itself would actually fit, but I seem to remember that the plug on pre fl is different to the one on facelift's.

Well the car is untouched,so i guess the switch is in the dash still.Is it you thats interested lee? :y

Plug on the later facelifts are Saab, early facelifts same as pre & mini

Yes the plugs are definatly different, but it is only a 3 wire plug, easy to cut off and join with scotch loks  ;D ;D ;D

I meant of course to say join with choc block connector as the wires are the same colour.

(scotch loks was a joke, please don't use them)

And the blind will fit from any age Omega.

Yes it is fine thank you. Took a couple of hours all in to fit including wiring, which was horrible with a frozen shoulder.

It gets used almost every day, sometime 2 or 3 times a day. I will probably wear it out soon  ;D ;D

It was the single biggest thing I missed when I bought the newer car. Strange how I became so obsessed with using it on the old car, the new car felt wrong without one.

Would be really handy if it could be wired to the self dimming rear view mirror (hmmm thinking)

Just got to find the time to fit the other one in mum's car now.

Thanks for all your help with it.
