Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Jaime for enabling the Bose on my retro-fitted head unit in the tractor, one of those five minute jobs that turned out to be a little longer than five minutes....... ::)

Thanks also to Mrs TB for the supply of tea!  :)

Sorry, only just recovered and got back online ;D

What a bitch that was - tech2 wouldn't speak to the NCDC whilst in the car (a fault I've seen before), yet opelscanner would :o

So we decide to take it out.  Only the front facia comes off with the keys, leaving the unit in place in the dash :o.  'Oh bugger'

Never mind, I had one of VXL V6's spare (faulty) NCDC's already, so just swap the facias over (not a 5 minute job in itself).  Got it all back together, one of the buttons is a bit intermittent.  No worries, take it apart to swap the electronics on the facia over.  At this point, it really mullered the connector to main board. Opps.

Anyway, got it all sorted in the end, a 5 minute job completed in 3 hours :o



In the meantime, Grrr turned up to collect a mirror.  I managed to break that as well when we removed it off Goldie  >:(


When is my luck going to change  :-[

Fortunately there's less and less NCDC's around to fix now!!!

TB, have you tried that traction control switch?

LOL, no.  I have not even picked up the tools from the dining room floor yet ;D

Hoping to swap my climate panel at some point this w/e, so that will be a good opportunity
