Welcome to site :)

Problem with Michelins is they are too hard at the expense of grip. Also, after a year or so, they tend to glaze over, reducing grip further...

Hi There .

I run my estate on Continental Or Dunlop Z ratings that way it sticks to the road as Omega's are not the best handling cars just keep an eye out for wear on the inside if you carry a lot of heavy stuff around. ;)

Hi & welcome :y
How does the 3 litre mv6 go?  My car is manual also, not the best gearbox I've experienced but I would'nt want the auto, you never know when they are going to change, thats no good in a fast corner.

Hello Jim Bob and welcome - if anyone can comment on 3l MV6 auto saloon it would be The Boy but he's not likely to come back tp this thread, so I suggest you post it under General Chat for better coverage. :y

How does the manual MV6 go?

Rather well I would say! ;)
Handling to me is far superior to standard Omega (I drive both so can make a direct comparison).

Slightly lower than standard Omega (30mm) and has firmer setup.
It even gets the approval Of Marks DTM Calib (this is high praise indeed!)

Howdoo, just adding my welcome.

I have just replaced the Dunlops on my MV6 manual with Goodyear F1's.  Its transformed the car.  It now sticks really well, good feedback from the tyres and the wet grip is really good.

And I drive my car towards the 'energetic' end of the cornering scale....    :y   Not exceeding the limit, just enjoying whats there...

Welcome mate  :y

I only put cheap(ish) Falkens on mine. Can't be bothered spending over the odds on tyres anymore.

Yes I do. It seems to like it. The rev counters broke so I take it to the limiter thought the gears a fair bit. I've had a few turbo cars(before family came along) which usually run out off puff well before the limiter but the omega pulls all the way.
