No, it's in the 'reasonably priced car'.

Think it was the other way round - it was a Daewoo or something, changed to Suzuki last series.

I was talking to someone who happened upon them filming this, and watched Hamilton get the reasonably priced car so totally out of shape that, by the end of the lap, it'd done more "grass miles" than a sit-on mower!

Not a real fan of Hamilton.......need more convincing of his ability. From what I can gather, Mansell (My all-time fave F1 driver) is currently fastest. If Hamilton can beat Mansell I might warm to him a little.  :)

We'll see tonight  :D :y

The track was wet when Hamilton did his timed lap, so there is very little chance of him 'beating' Mansells time. However, if he gets close to it, it will be in effect the fastest lap recorded - thanks to the negative effect of the wet surface.

Hi, Why is it that everybody thinks that Mansell was a great driver  ;D, he wasn't, it was more the car (Williams) than him, as he was not good at McLaren. Lewis on the other hand is a Great Driver  :y he will follow in the foot steps of the Greatest Driver of them all "Michael Schumacher" and before anybody says it was Michael's Ferrari, he won his first two titles at Benetton 94 & 95, which was not the best car to have at the time.  8-)

I think his record speaks for its self, you can have the best car in the world but if the driver is no good then you will get nowhere, its a combination of both man and machine.
Mansall was tops, he even concured America
