Snap! (excuse the pun) looks exactly the same as mine  :(

So how do you go about getting a trade discount? i don't know anyone in the industry unfortunately.

Just replaced mine yesterday £164 for the mid and rear. The joint at the front pipe is a bit of a bugger though.

Is this your system? Should get middle and rear sections for around £90-£100. Then you find a fitter to bribe  ;)

What type of headlights do you have?

Good question, they have on orb shaped lens if thats any use. Discovered i was turning the adjusters the wrong way  :-[

Almost got it matching the height of the n/s, just a few milimeters in it.

The adjusters are just above the glass allen key IIRC.

I thought that was them, they dont seem to do anything though. turning them but the aim stays the same. This was a new headlight fitted by Vx after a smash about 18 months ago.

Hi guys, my o/s headlight is aimed too low. Is there any manual adjustment on these? On the mot sheet it said 1.6 low.

Bloody exhaust failed aswell, lol.

Doubt if this is anywhere near the same but I had a D plate fiesta years ago, 3 sets of front tyres in 2 months. Kwick fart tracking was at fault and they paid for the tyres. I took it to their "Computer tracking center" at their request and after they adjusted Toe and Camber all was fine. £14.75p well spent (10 years ago though).

Easiest fix i've done so far, 2 mins to free off both seats. Thanks :y

Its a lot easier to fix.

Lube the worm drive (easy from behind the seat) and look for the point where it attaches to the rear seat bar. Around this is a plastic cover, remove it and you can then insert a 13mm socket (its tight) on an extension.

This will locate on the end of the worm drive and allow you to turn it and free it off.

Easy!

Thanks I will give it a try before ripping the seats out, sounds pervy though ;D

Been pushing the button quite alot to see what it does and all I get is the clunk. Will drop the motor from the seat and see what happens. Worst case I need 2 new motors, best case a shed load of lube required and a gym membership ;D

Omega General Help / Re: Alloy wheel stuck!! Help?
« on: 11 November 2006, 02:52:45 »
Right, got the copper slip stuff. Off work for a few days (Worked 13 days solid). Done all me washing and Ironing (yes i'm single).

Saturday is the day as long as the precipitation stays away.
Work to be done:
Alloys cleaned and lubed. Seat height motors lubed and fixed (hopefully). Front pipe to manifold gasket replacement. Full interior vallet. Tcut the bird sh1t out the paint work (seagulls and pigeons love the roof at my work). Removal of reversing camera and repair of the electrics it connected to.

What are the chances? ::)

Will probably spend most of the day kicking the alloys off ;D
