Omega General Help / winters coming.....tyres versus chains????
« on: 24 September 2011, 21:28:21 »
hi guys im in a bit of a quandry...having bought my omega and remembering what a mare my last one was in the snow and not fancying a repeat performance, i am now trying to prepare myself and my pride and joy for whatever the british weather might have in store for us.
my problem is do i go down the route of snow chains in the boot ready for any unexpected white stuff or fit some snow tires to the drive wheels, having used neither any advice would be greatly appreciated...cheers and beers

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / no interior lights etc
« on: 15 September 2011, 22:58:39 »
hi guys just purchased a 2001 2.2 cd omega and i found i have no interior lights, no courtesy lights, no puddle lights and no lights in glovebox, i have read the manual and from what i can make out all these items are tied in with other circuits, which i have found all items on the same fuse are working.
any advice would be appreciated

Omega General Help / engine management light
« on: 15 September 2011, 23:05:03 »
picked up my 2001 2.2cd omega auto yesterday and the 70 odd mile drive back home was a real pleasure with no issues, however gone out in it today and whilst out and about the engine management light came up, pulled over and checked under bonnet for oil and water etc, all seemed fine so proceeded with my journey and all well for the rest of the day...she returned about 270 miles on half a tank of fuel so cant be a lot wrong but management light still on.....any advice would be greatly appreciated
