hey guys, woundering if anyone is going to the first show of the year at santa pod raceway FAST SHOW, its a great show to go to and reasonably cheap day out, starts 25/03/12 but look on the santa pod website for more details.

Went to the Power Vauxhall Show last June and had a real good time so if it's anything like that then it should be worth a trip up, especially if the drift Omegas are going to be there. :y

well if you read up about the show on the website then im sure it will deffinatly sike you up for it, its racing, run what you brung, drifting, loads more

Used to go Santa Pod 2-3 times every year in the eighties.
Great memories of Sammy Miller and Vanishing point and the "hole in the ground" toilets
Eventually got to expensive as well as family, work, older, etc
Maybe give it a trip if there was also a meet as well

Yep just checked it out and looks like I may well take the trip as long as the weather looks good for that weekend,I worked at the Pod for six years and I know that it's not the greatest place to be when it's chucking it down :-\ :y

yer tell me about it lol, santa pod is genrally a miserable place for wheather, well it has been for me everytime ive been lol

BUT when the sun shines there it's a great place with like you say loads to see and do,cold beer and fit women oooyeh :P 8)

Still don't think I've thawed out from my last Santa Pod visit - the very first OOF meet - 5yrs ago ;D
rather freezing, and full of chavs revving the tits off their chavved up chavmobiles all night.
Its kinda put me off the place ;D

Not at 3am in the morning >:( The chav was smacked off his tits and would rev the gonads off his chav mobile so it bounced off the rev limiter. Not the best when your trying to sleep about 10 foot away in a tent ;D

dont go as much as i used to ,go to the vw shows with my beach buggy will be running her this year with the new 1835 cc eng.
daughters auntie is bindi bull she drives the yellow mod c10 pick up 7.44 best quater,
used to race escorts there well would take enything that was fast lol.
may give the fast show alook if its nice weather ive been soaked afew times funny when your young and drunk not so much fun when your old and creaky ;D

I'm not talking about people blasting up the strip, its the useless thicko chavs - you know the type, spark plugs in the exhaust - seeing if they can get 8 little dents in the bonnet from the valves if they just rev the dogs off it in the carkpark.

Ye i might pop down for the day only 40 mins away and have a good laugh at chavs revving there 1.1 fiesta popular pluses until white flags come out the bonnet . Havnt said popular plus for a few years showing my age.
