So it appears to have happened again!

Somebody has gone to the trouble of trying to set up a meet,  as I have done in the past, and hardly anyone shows up! ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

I feel sorry for those that tried, but I think you now know that Southern meets are doomed! :( :( :(

Leave the meets to The Lakes and Newent events in the main, unless 'something' changes ;) ;)

Nice to meet you guys and girls that did turn up...

Pity we missed you sierrapau...but we parked close to the entrance so easy to see  2 Omegas.

We arrived at 11.00 then we sat inside cafe for a while and had a chat , coffee and food and left about 1.00 after photo at entrance.

Maybe a better turn out next time ?

A meeting only ever gets started if people join in,so lets hope this is the start of future S/E meetings.

Sainsbury,s carpark or not...lets hope we see you next time Lizzie

Well its a start - well done to the organisers.  Hopefully, like the 'Oxford' meets, it will become more established next time :y

Putting up a few pics (stick them in General Chat for wider audience) should also create more interest...

Never mind Weds, just glad to hear that you're back from the Colonies - in fact we're sorry to hear that you got 'transported' to a penial colony in the first place, ah ha!

There'll be another meet soon, Mr & Mrs Alarming man will do the arranging in due course, 'n we'll exchange humorous tails of woe...............you 2 Sierrapaul !

Ding gone............ ::)

Actually I did make it today also, but I got caught up with the M26 closure and did'nt arrive until 11.30 just in time to see a silver R reg leaving(I guess that was the guys from Eastbourne? I parked between the two cars by the entrance and chilled for about an hour then had to leave had a bit of a problem back home.A real shame that only a few cars turned up but I would'nt be to dissapointed as when I went to the first Oxford meet back at the start of the year in the bitterly cold weather there were a few more cars than today but the second meet attracted better numbers.So don't give up as I for one would certainly come back as I was looking towards one of those breakfasts and good old chinwag!
