Yep that's about right. They were always near the 30k mark though very very few were actually sold at full retail price, or to private owners...

My 2001 was £24,000 when new, including Auto and Leather which were optional on the CDX. Bought it at 6.5k miles / 5 months old, for much much less than that...  :)

My 2.2 2003 CD £19600 new. Then of course CDX, MV6 & Elite further up the scale. IIRC 2.6 MV6 was £25k. HTH

I know its sooo noisye compared to other 2.2's - When i start earning money again, i'd be tempted to get a 2.6 manual.

Convert it to lpg Tunnie.....that'll quieten it down a bit  ;)

Oh and the knackered sound proofing in engine compartment wont help either  ::)

i will keep both until i go travelling, when i come back got a very hard decision to make!

If i get a job in London = 10 min drive to Bicesta train station - (not worth LPG for that, will barley get warm enough in time)

If i get a job in Northampton or MK which is a 30/45 min drive... then i might:

LPG the Senny, replace the chains and run it into the ground
Sell the 2.2 and get a 2.6

But i would really like a job in London, so prob keep the 2.2 if that happens  :(

Suspect you will keep the 2.2......now you've had the sennie a couple of weeks now....have you discovered it using more petrol than the 2.2  ;D

Around town its a tad thirsty, but not bad for a 3.0. It was as low as 19 average around town, goes up quickly on the motorway, it was 23 when i left London, got to my m8s house in the midlands, had risen to 30.7 average...

The trouble is thats its damn hard to keep off the loud pedal  ::)
