where can i get the timing specs of the motronic 2.8.1 on the x25xe , the mechanic that has my car now wants to repace the timing belt and open the engine to check the pickup on the crank . he says its supposed to be 8 to12 degrees and not -8  , i dont want to get ripped off . he wants a proof that its supposed to be like that . i know we did ground pin 42 so the ecu knows its on a manual box .   :( code 46 just came back after i replaced the relay

When you touch the accelerator it goes into the positives cant remember how mutch  , last two days ive had a problem with hesetation on acceleration going to check my afm tonight but i suspect it might be my fuelpump or fuelpump relay thats acting up .allready swaped out ht leads will do the coilpack aswell , the only error code i have is code 46 but we dont have the sai pumps or relays for the sai system here so getting them is a bit of a pain .

Thanks

Omega General Help / Cam specifications on the x30xe
« on: 19 May 2009, 10:11:13 »
Hi

I have a problem getting the x30xe cams here in South Africa , now i have the idea of taking one of my 2 spare motor's ( x25xe and a c25xe ) intake cams and have them modified to the correct x30xe specs . the problem is that i cant find the durations and other info needed on the cams  :-[ . does anyone have information on the cams ?

Thank You

i found some pictures on www.tssd.co.uk where they explained how they should work , i found the vectra sport forum and after looking at a few of the pictures i noticed i didnt have the reservoir . the car feels strong but i have read that it could affect the power delivery if they dont function . i just want to get permission from someone to post a pic of his/her enginebay .

Omega General Help / Multiram System Question
« on: 13 April 2009, 07:28:44 »
Hi

I have a problem with the multiram intake system on the X25XE intake the valves wont close or function as they should . if you rev the motor and let go of the gas the top one closes for a split second sometimes the bottom one closes aswell so i was wondering do i need to get the vacuum resevoir or coud we have missed a leak on the intake .

Thank You
