« on: 18 March 2011, 15:56:06 »

I have a problem  that ABS light in dashboard is off, after 10 - 15 minutes of start the engine it comes on and speedometer is not giving the speed of the car. A technician told me to replace the ABS sensors on both front wheels, another technician told me to replace the break switch. How can I know what is the problem? if it is a break switch, where is it locate

It is neither .. classic ABS ECU failure indications.

1, New from VX ... very expensive and will need setting up with Tech2

2, Existing one repaired - about £130

3, Second hand .. variable but unless you get one from the same model year/model/engine it will need a tech2 set up as well.

Fiddly job but not demanding

(and by the way ... large type in daft colours will not get any different answers to normal type.)

EDIT .. as you say "Opel" omega I'm guessing you are not UK based so the prices quoted will be different where you are.

:)
