Speaker help....
« on: 21 January 2008, 22:59:42 »

Hi all,

I knew when I got my car that the BOSE system had been ripped out and that the person who had the car before me had fitted his/her own head unit(after some wacky and messy wiring). So... bought a new head unit, sorted out what I needed to and it worked, bar one speaker, passenger side front.

Upon closer inspection the passenger side front speaker does work but there is only extreme high freq coming through, any idea's?

Try swapping the speakers from a different location to see if the problem moves or remians.

if it moves away, the speaker is at fault, if it stays, then its either a head unit or installation fault.
