can i fit a steering wheel without radio controls to a vehicle originally equipped with same,ie fit a pre mini facelift to a pre facelift without the bose having an eppy.also how do you remove a steering wheel without getting a facefull of air bag.

Yes you can......disconnect the battery first and give it a minute or so to allow the caps to discharge before removing the airbag.

The controls are on a seperate feed in the steering wheel and are based around a set of resistors, the radio wont care if it doesn't see it as thats the standard setup for no key presses.

Ow yes, you might need a puller to get the wheel off but, I'm sure you can fabricate something.
