Omega General Help / No Cup Holders
« on: 24 June 2014, 11:54:24 »
Is there a reason why the omega has no cup holders? Vectra B's and C's do and I wondered why this is. It doesn't bother me I just find it unusual.

Good reading,

Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem. I'm with Bell (Admiral Grp) so will give them a call,

It would appear not rare for OMF members to own multiple cars. Is this not very costly or are the majority shared access to perhaps a partners car. The reason I ask is I would love to get myself a 2.6 MV6 manual saloon in the future. I presume my NCB would not transfer onto a second car. Am I missing a trick here?  :y

Agreed mate. One of the first things I want to do. Also intend to remove the roof bars soon and get hold of some 19's snowflake alloys.

For the aesthetics. I want to do quite a bit to the car and the roof racks wouldn't look right IMO.

I sold the car about a year back. One of most reliable cars I have ever owned. Those 8v lumps don't complain much. :)

I have lots of plans for my battle bus. Took these pictures so I can photoshop to get an idea of how my plans would look.

Shame you don't know where they are hiding. Maybe as advised ill put an ad in for some.

Thanks for you help guys. Failing getting hold of some im sure with enough time spent I could hide the holes "cleanly" without a blanking plate

Is it just 2 holes at either end that would be left having removed the bars? If its simply the screw holes then surely I could source a blanking plug of equal size. Or is there a bit more to it?

Hello All,

I am curious to know whether you can simply remove the roof bars. Any ideas what would be involved?

Would appreciate any opinions / guidance on this,

Thanks

Hello All,

Firstly brilliant website for brilliant cars. I wanted an omega since my friend had a 2.5 CD a few years back. I wasn’t expecting much when he turned up in the car but it clearly left an impression on me. My previous car an EP3 Civic type r became tiresome pretty quickly and I really don’t miss anything about it. My mind was made up I wanted an Omega so sought out the cleanest car possible which lead me to Roger Budden. Expensive but I felt the premium was justified for peace of mind.

I am now the very proud owner of an omega elite 3.2 estate (Black) 53. I chose the estate with preference as I have plans for the car and liked the idea of being a little different. Ill upload some pictures as soon as possible.
Thank you for reading
