Having trouble finding a good set of mv6 springs so looking at getting eibach lowering springs .. however will lower another 15mm over mv6 height which i dont want.
Has anyone ever used a superpro rear spring insulator raiser to increase height ?? Or has anyone done anything to increase height once lowering springs fitted... If so what ??
And is there anything that can be done on front ??

bought a v6 omega with 71k on clock mint cat but was rattling.. took apart found three tappets collapsed.
changed a bank of tappets while out changed cams to g cams on inlet. fitted new cam seals rocker cover gaskets and spark plugs.
started car up after a few mins of tappets settling car is whisper quiet. couldn't believe it.
however I now have a eml light on and when read say knock sensor. think it said low input or low voltage.
anyone got any idea???

i have a 52 plate elite v6 omega and im wanting to replace shocks and springs to late mv6 spec.
but when i search for shocks all that come up is v6 shocks or 4cyl shocks.. no mention of being specific for mv6.
now i know mv6 shocks and springs are different to every other model as there stiffer..
so what shocks do you buy is it only vauxhall genuine stuff which will be to spec of original Mv6?
or is there an alternative and same with springs

never had any valve stem seals fail on a v6 omega ??
is it common to just 2.6 if so why as wouldn't they be same as 3.2??
so you can change cams without sandwhich plate then as im guessing you swap it for bigger opening as per a 3.0. but unless head ported you now have a step which is worse than original.

and no need for valve stem oil seals as car is fine only done 71k and no even a hint of smoke ...

CURRENTLY GOT A STANDARD 2.6 OMEGA LOW MILAGE .. ITS HAVING NEW TAPPETS FITTED AND CAMBELT WATER PUMP KIT AS OF NEXT WEEK..
