Can anyone recall what antenna plug the Nokia RTE-2RH Telematics unit is?
I'm struggling to identify it or find any documentation.

Not found it yet, will have to have another look. :-[

Have re-checked and unfortunately not. I thought i'd found the right lead as it had an FME connector on the other end but it appears to be the connector for the GPS on an NCDC/R.
So i'm still on the hunt, annoyingly I can't even identify the connector, I know it's not SMA, SMB, FME, Mini UHF or Fakra.
...and there's little to no information on the web despite using the Nokia and GM part numbers in the search.
I might end up seeing if I can remove the existing socket from the circuit board and solder in an FME plug on a tail instead.

Found the socket... but no luck with the plug :'(

Possible workaround as I don't fancy removing the existing socket due the the board being multi-layer, with the signal track routing through the sandwich of the board ::) - excuse the soldering, it was just a proof of concept on an old faulty Telematics which was done during a Teams call for work :-[ ;D

Looks good enough to me - nobody will see the soldering with the cover back on ;)

If I remember correctly about 13 years ago I manage to source some plugs for the Telematics, fairly sure I got them from Hirschmann direct in Germany as couldn't find anyone else that even new about what they were.
Thinking about it now if I was to go down that route again and looking at the above pics of the socket would probably do the same and replace the socket with BNC/TNC or SMA type, also remember the plugs I got were a sod to make up as the crimp wasn't good with a standard 50ohm crimper.
Also isn't the footwell plug for the Telematics the same plug or did I did I just dream that bit :-\

I've never had a factory equipped Telematics car, mine have all been fitted with loom modifications. The standard factory (NCDC) saloon aerial leads usually terminate with Fakra connectors in the kick panel area next to the Bose Loom connector, from there GM and Autoleads sold a Fakra to FME patch lead to get you from the connector to the glovebox area where you logically fit a handsfree unit. On models with other headunits i've seen variations of Mini UHF and FME connectors.
I'm sure the connector is also used elsewhere on GM cars of the era but I can't think where!
