When I lived in New Zealand it wasn't compulsory to have insurance, which is quite wrong really as the driving standard over there is awful.

Crank sensor was recently changed a couple of months ago using genuine parts. Could this cause a faultly signal. Car seems to be running fine with no noticeable problems.

Omega General Help / Malfunction indicator
« on: 25 August 2015, 12:16:22 »
Hello everyone

On towing the caravan home the other day the warning light came on. Car is running fine apart from the spanner light illuminated. Took the car for a drive yesterday and although the light went off it soon came back on again. Did the pedal test and code 0650 came up indicating Malfunction Indicator Control Circut/High/Low/Open.
What does this mean and how do you rectify it.

Thanks for looking. Car is 2.6 CDX Estate.

General Car Chat / Re: Air con

Cheers for your reply

Yes that is probably the easiest way of doing it but maybe the least reliable. Difficult to gets parts now for the Senny and it wasn't that reliable when new. It has been done before and was really wondering if anyone has any idea what may be involved. There is a link on the ABS forum that someone has done it before but would like people's thoughts and ideas.

Has anyone had experience or knowledge of fitting an Omega air con system to Senny. Thinking of getting this done on my car by my local garage. Hope to get as much info as possible to pass on to them as to make the job easier. Have also posted a similar question on the ABS forum.

Cheers

Heathrow is the best option. A well established airport full to capacity which airlines and customers want to fly into.
The majority of people living next to Heathrow rely on the airport for employment. I am not just talking about the airport itself but also all the other infrastructures around as well.

As far as the noise and pollution levels are concerned many of the airlines flying into Heathrow use aircraft which are quieter and efficient. Just compare an old 737 to a more modern 737-800 and you can tell the difference. Most of the complaints to Heathrow are made by a very small minority of people whilst most others put up with the slight inconvenience caused by an important business providing a lot of wealth to the area.

Heathrow is very important to the British economy. It is about time a decision was made.

Or is it possible to just flat it at the end once lacquered.

Ummm not sure. As said new to this but went with the suppliers recommendations. Base coat mixed with base coat thinner 2 to 1. Lacquer is RFU clear.

Thanks for that. Yes after lawyer I mean lacquer has been applied. Didn't realise it takes so long to harden. Feels dry already.

Hello everyone
Bought a compressor with a spray gun the other week. My front bumper was slightly damaged whilst in Italy and instead of giving it to a body shop to repair I decided to do it myself. Removed the bumper and all fixings lightly sanded the surface and purchased some paint, thinner and lacquer from a local paint supplier. All is going well and the bumper has come out a treat. My question is how do you get a smooth surface once lacquer has been applied. New to this spraying lark but really enjoying the great finish. Would just like some helpful tips.
Cheers
