Mark Higgins averaged 128 mph around the course in a rally car,it's on you tube and is bloody frightening to watch

Torque converter slush box for me every time
Admittedly it was a while back now, but SWMBO was given a DSG Passat as a courtesy car that I ended up using, I never liked the slow speed engagement while parking etc though I believe there is now a certain amount of 'creep' built into them
Congratulations….. if that’s what you meant. As for the 300c ….. they’re different in a cool way. You expect men with guns to be lurking behind those tints.
Thank you, and yes, it is .
A huge surprise as we'd both been told independently that the likelihood of it ever happening for us was remote. So it's fair to say we weren't expecting it! It has been and will continue to be a nervous but hugely exciting time for all of us .
Roll on September!!
Sounds the same as ours -V70 P3 2012 2.0D D4 (5 Cylinder) went to a 4 Cylinder version in 2013 I believe.I cant understand the obsession with low mileage.
Cars that are rarely used suffer all kinds of problems that cars with plenty of miles, but well looked after dont.
Yep …..
Agreed,my v70 is on 212 k now and still feels tight
Is that a D4 2.0?
It's a P3 2.0 derv from 2009,may have been mapped as it seems quite spritely,it's averaged 43mpg in the year or so I've had it so quite pleased with it
No D4 badges on it so perhaps that came a bit later

A friend hit a pothole in his Volvo something 40 and got a puncture. Garagesaid your alloy is wrecked too. He says it is all the heavy EVs wearing out the roads.
I do think the design of the XJ has aged well. It's a handsome beast. Its passable from the front of side, but by god, its got a pig ugly arse.
Booked the Alabama Mumsybus in for a couple of wheel bearings.
By the time I have wasted days getting replacement hubs and getting the bearings changed on them to make the actual job easier... (swapping hubs is an hour or so vs trying to dig the old bearings out on the drive), I concluded that I really CBA so it's going to a local indie for it.
This is the reality for a good percentage of jobs on cars these days for me, especially with limited daylight this time of the year, roll on the summer!
Took the headlights off the Boxster to polish them up.
Takes about 20 seconds per unit to remove them.

Sounds like the module itself to me.
If you can clip the meter on it so that you can see it as you turn ignition over you’ll probably find that it drops to around 8 Volts under load. Likewise, if you get it running you should see over 14 Volts to check alternator output. It’s done quite well so new battery time. You could always use Kevin’s battery charging/checking guide for peace of mind.
I'm getting around 14.5 Volts with the silky V6 running.
New battery time then.
Treated the Omega to a new pair of Bosch wipers. Havent tried them yet, but hopefully they wont be shite.
The screeching on the old ones drove me to distraction.
