Just seen that. Quite a shock, even though she was 79. Wrote some great songs. Particularly Songbird.

Patrick Tambay 73, after a long illness. He was a former Ferrari (among others) F1 driver and race winner, in the early 80,s.

Met him at Croft race circuit many moons ago , seemed like a decent bloke .

Survived the the short life span of bomber crew and lived to a grand age of 101. RIP to a brave man, will we ever see his ilk again?
