Role was removed and the car was used like this. Steering constantly turning heavy. The role is fitted back again, sometimes turning slowly and sometimes turning easily. Could there be an electrical malfunction?

OK. It does sound like something electrical, then.

I think you need to check for any intermittent electrical connections in the system - supply and ground to the servotronic ECU, connection from ECU to the valve on the steering box and speed signal input to the ECU.

Is the ABS ECU OK? Does the speedometer ever stop working?
