Where abouts is the aerial wire routed? CCRT700
« on: 27 February 2008, 13:41:21 »

I'm trying to find the aerial connections behind the passenger side kick panel, but I can't for the life of me see them.

All that is there is the large wiring harness for the main body electronics (and also the 6-pin plug for sat nav which is another reason I was checking) but I cant see the gray connector for the radio aerial, mainly the one for the phone aerial!

Am I looking in the right place??  I've had the carpet pulled back and the kickpanel off, but still can't see the wire...

Don't quote me on this but TIS says you're looking for a red and white wire with 0.75Ohms impedance.

And it must run down the passenger side, try looking in the middle of the loom.

Are you sure it's the passenger side?

My 2.6 has the radio and phone aerial connectors behind the driver's kick panel.

RHD?

It will be 75 ohms impedance....and the radio aerial is down the passenger side....as I have had to change a few due to the cable getting damaged at the head unit end!

Hi, both my radio and telephone aerial wires were behind the drivers kick panel.

Also on my 2.6 the Sat Nav, Phone Aerial, and Radio run down the drivers sill. Connecters behind the Drivers kick plate
