A quick blow over with minimal prep work would be about a grand :-\ same money would see it wrapped...

TB. i know this is a silly question but,where is the VIN.As there is no letter after the VIN/chassis/frame number on my v5c only a number?

Last letter of the VIN. Around the 7th from last character in the VIN
Ho right mate,its an S so not so old then :) :y

You are right mate,but i would happily spend say £500 on a respray :y

The only way you'd get close to £500 would be to do every bit of the prep yourself, unfortunately.

My Saloon is a 95 m plate it is sorn at the mo but still runs fine and has 120,000 ish on the clock. The estate i have is a t plate 99 so both of mine are old duffer's lol.

My L reg Omega had an R in the VIN number.

It had done 201,000 miles when it failed the MOT due to rot under the plastic sill covers :'(
