95 Elite "inastate"
« on: 06 May 2009, 21:46:41 »

So here we go. Some piccys of my very cheap Elite estate. Purchsed for next to nothing with running issues. I hope to have my new crank sensor tomorrow which I hope will make her driveable. These pictures are after I cleaned the inside. It was to say the least mingin!!!. I'll start on the outside once she's runnin right.

Ladys and Gentleman I give you the "GROWBAG"

Looks alright to me! Bodywork looks excellent considering the age.

Pipe is disconnected off the breather bridge though  :D

I've seen 53 plate estates with more rust around the rear wiper spindle!

Nearside rear door is a bit pooey on the back lower corner, other than that there's some minor rust on the bottom of the two front doors and a scab appearing on the drivers door from under the window trim. I'll doubt I'll do much about it. It's like a black metalic but when the suns out it looks a very deep blue.

If you consider that a "Growbag" then i would hate to see one you consider to be a right shed :o.

      Looks fine to me :y.

If you had seen the mould growing in the door pockets you would understand why she's called a grow bag and not a shed  :P :P :P :P.Still she scrubbed up well. Lets hope I can sort the running issues. Did I tell ya I also found fag ash stuck to the injin  :-/

Yes,it's a fine looking motor alright. I much prefer the look of the pre-facelift. The facelift looks a bit 'snouty' IMO.
Your's would look even better though with a tailgate spoiler C/W brake light priced at only £30.00 +p&p ::)
