what do you mean by that?
-
How many times the wheels turn in one mile, bigger wheels turn less times in a mile etc. This will then affect the range i assume.
-
I think mone needs reprogramming as i have less than a quarter of a tank with a 290 mile range lol. I wish!!!
-
The display in my car reads 5 figures number :o

Its actually pulses per km... ...but, yes, configured to match wheel size :y
-
TB, would you say it needs reprogramming to correct the range?

Depends if its a 3.0l auto or not ;)

mines a 3.0 auto. Is their any other details you would need? tyre size etc? mines on standard 16" wheels.

No other config on those geriatric MIDs.
Not beyond the realms of possibility that its corrupted that a reprogram may or may not solve - remember those MIDs are mostly 20yrs old now.

HOLLY THREAD REVIVAL BATMAN!!
TB - the mid I have was bought brand new, stored and never fitted for a year younger 2.5 saloon. As mine is a 3.0 auto estate I assume the range isn't correct due to the different fuel sender in the tank therefore, would it be better to buy another mid of the same year, engine size body type?
Thanks
-
grab to code index (as per your first post) and see what it says :)
-
on the new mid, that is :)
-
The pic In the first post is the new mid
-
CI = 010 is for 3.0l auto by look of it
-
Mine is a 3.0 auto so, the problem must be elsewhere.
Thanks for the reply
