Have you adjusted the steering wheel recently?

Might be as stupid as a pinched wire ;)

On older Renaults if you disconnected battery then switched ignition on, reconnect the battery while still switched on and you could start them

Took it in for an airbag recall and got a free health check...

Only two things they found wrong were the headlight washers not working and the gearbox sump pan is corroded and weeping, but because they aren't money grabbing sods, they have said they will fit a new one for no extra labour as part of the gearbox service...

And just to cheer James up, they tried to suggest that one of my month old tyres had a mm less tread than the other three :D

Got the gearbox service down to £200 if I supply the parts and I may get them to Mot it whilst they're at it...  :D

Fixed the headlight washers, so just the handbrake to tweak and it will be MoT ready.

New Bilstein B4's fitted and full tracking/ alignment  carried out on the Omega .
NCT ( MOT ) booked, should be OK as it's done a whopping 504 miles since last test .....

Must use it a bit more this year .

Washed the Omega and the Boxster. Now have half a bucket of the Sahara desert in my rinse bucket.  ::)
Hoping to change the steering idler and front ARB bushes (for polys) tomorrow.

Me too seems strange that they don't adjust automatically, the Merc I had was a pain in the arse to alter the clock so I just left it.
