Omega Electrical and Audio Help / current drain f7

Hi All

I have a current drain on fuse 7 which is drawing 2.4 amps Quiescent (standing) when I remove F7 the Quiescent drops to 0.2ma
I have checked http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1161602010 to see what this fuse is controlling but it dose not control the Electrically operated windows. In the Vauxhall manual F7 controls the Check control ,engine oil level & Courtesy lamp. when I remove F7 my Courtesy lamp goes off so I think that my F7 is wired the Vauxhall manual way. Can anyone tell me where to start looking first for this fault

hi all
new to this forum i have a 2001 omega elit and i fitted an an omega k9 aftermarket alarm i will also be adding remote start .i have found away to get round the immob but  the problem that i am having is that the factory fitted alarm keeps arming with out me turing it on.

Dose anyone know how to turn off the factory fitted alarm

Hi all

I known this might sound like a crime after reading posts and seeing lots of you wanting to install BOSE SETUPS .  But i want to install my kenwood setup + ps2 had it in all car .Do i have need to remove Bose amp or can i just remove the Vx unit and fit the kenwood unit.

Omega General Help / Self leveling shocks hight

Hi All
Today I heard the exhaust knocking when I went over bumps.After looking I found the the rear was sitting very low so I checked the self leveling system and found a small hole in the air line that runs in though the wheel arch behind the pump drivers side. I taped it up and the rear has now raise up but looks much to high the rear arch's are about  4" above the 16" tyres.

My questions are
1) How high should the rear be when boot empty
2) How & when dose the hight adjust up
3) How dose the hight adjust down
4) Should I of taped up the hole

Hi All

Been a while since i have been on droped in an out .

I have a problem with my heater an with the cold on its way i think i better fix it . the add on coolant pump i think it is called ( just under the coolant bottel ) has stoped working i have tested the motor and fuse that powers it and they are ok but i am not getting any power to the motor.I think it might the add on heter control unit dose any one know where it is located or what eles i should check.

Am getting a missfire it sounds like a plug lead is arckin but the 2.6 dose not have leads seems to do it mostly when hot and sometimes when cold and starting to move off i have no power would this be the coil pack on the way out would it also store any codes

I have been told that the omega v6s oil pump fails regularly is this true if it is how often should it be changed an is it hard to do

I did an oil change on Friday and all seemed well but early this morning MOnday I was doing about 80 MPH and Check oil level came up on the MID should I be worried .If i should what should i do  :-/

I need to change my Shock Absorbers as they are both leaking,i have the Self Levelling type fitted i have seen post that say that i can fit the Standard Rear Shocks

What the difference between the two types I.e what do they do different

my 2.6 runs lumpie on idle sometimes have looked for post on this but can not find any on 2.6 it idles at about 5000 and dose not apair to raise when this is happening is there any thing that i can clean ?
