Spooky80 gives nearly 40% off, also doing free same day delivery on orders over £10.
Just ordered and paid £10.47 for 5x 5L concentrated screen wash (25L in total), delivered today for free.
Can't complain at-all at that :)

What's not to like. :y
-
Thanks for the tip, Tunnie; I deleted my email without looking!
I think you mean 3 X 5 Litres though, yes?
Ron.

Triple QX concentrate was the one I ordered.

I've just bought 3 x 5 litres for £6.28 including free delivery.
Couldn't afford £10. :)

I went for 5x as you get free next day delivery :)

Scrub that, also free same day delivery. When I added just 3, anything below £10 incurred a delivery charge :-\
-
I went for click and collect and they’ve just rung me to say it’s ready for me to collect ;D
Good service for a tenner.

I'm working from home today, plus need to take Little MissT to nursery, so went for delivery. Even though one is only about a mile away ;D

I suppose I'll have to wait a day or two longer for it to arrive. No biggie. :)

No. Good service for a tenner is they bring it straight round with a bunch of flowers and a large box of continental chocolates for your wife. :)

My missus is on half term, so I thought I’d give her a ride out to ECP. She’s a lucky girl. :)
-
Ooh, I need a few bits & pieces - screenwash, ATF, oil filters, fuel filters...... Will have a look on their interweb page. :) :y
-
Am awaiting TB usual response. ;D

So, in Sky world, "WFH" means anything but "working". No wonder big companies are trying to clamp down on it.

Fully working, popped to nursery at lunch and pick her up at 6. Given MrsT's current condition work have been very flexible, as am I with my direct reports and letting them working from home.

I see no harm in spending a tenner on screen wash. If its shite, just put it in neat at that price. That said, the last lot of Halfords -20C concentrate I bought I somehow got for around £2.50 a can, and thats reasonable stuff. But looking online now, its over £3.
I would be more wary of buying other parts from ECP.
And we all know this offer is nothing special, due to the way they bump prices, and the fact the British public is one of the world's most gullible.

Some silly bint in my (extended) team forgot to mark a hair appointment as private in her Outlook calendar when she was "working" from home.

Why would you need to mark that private?
We have an on-site barbers at Sky HQ and in another building a hair saloon. I've put hair cut in my calendar and popped along during the day, while at the office :) :D
-
I bought a load a while back for the same amount-still have 3 left.
With carriage they must be making a loss.

Because its taking the piss! She's supposed to be working, not getting her bloody hair chomped. Now if she made up the time in her lunchtime, fine. But everyone knows she takes the dogs out.
Having been a part time homeworker for over 20yrs, I can tell you this sort of thing starts to get noticed, and rather than clamp down on the piss takers, blanket bans come in instead, so as not to be seem bullying, sexist, whatever.
So I do get rightly on my high horse when I see people abusing the privilege.

I suspect they pay less than £2 for economy carriage...
So they are still making a tidy sum, don't worry.

It,s the same old problem. Penalise evertone for the sins of the few. >:(

So I do get rightly on my high horse when I see people abusing the privilege.
Sky officially recognise flexible working, it's a part of all new contracts. (at least in Tech) - For things such as child care, hence I do 1 day a week from home now. So my boss knew today I was doing a nursery drop off and taking MrsT to the hospital.

I wasn't picking on you. What agreements you and your boss have are between you. But even then, try to keep unavailable time to before/after/lunchtime, as others outside your team might start to notice that that tunnie guy is never around when at home ;)
Flexible working is a privilege very easily withdrawn from any contract ;). Every few years I see it. And, as said, all because a significant proporsion of flexible workers class WFH as an excuse to watch Bargain Hunt.
And ask yourself, how can somebody WFH during half term to look after their little baskets be "working" efficiently.
And that's before I get onto a rant about someone who said they were "WFH" today, yet yesterday had said their internet at home wasn't working, and it would be several days to get it fixed.
-
That said, can't remember last time I was in my main office ;D. Bet its less than half a dozen times since I got back from my holibobs :-[
I do go to a lot of other places though.
-
Actually, I bet its less than half a dozen times since my previous holiday ;D
-
Fully agree, always make sure I'm responding quickly to emails, instant replies on Slack messaging thingy we have. Especially when the boss asks me something ;D
Phone/email, ect, make sure I'm as fast as I've been at the office. Cause I like this, especially in the summer. Sitting outside in the sun 8)
-
Also thanks to car share it means a tank of fuel lasts 2 weeks in the 3.2 :D

Where you cant see laptop screen ::)

I suspect a tank of canal boat fuel would last me months if I didn't keep having to go to other sites. If I went in every day of the week (not done that for well over 15yrs :o), I suspect I'd struggle to get a fortnight from a tank.

Modern Vauxhall’s do, omegas would be alright with hypoid oil in the engine. In fact, it might make them a bit less leaky. ;D
