automatic transmision 85 kg approx.. manual 30 kg.. only addition is extra pedal
yep.. and you have to shoot me to convince for auto again
Auto's are good for elderly or infirm...

I know it's not a new story but I've only just discovered the (100 odd page) build thread of the latest incarnation of RV3.
To say that this man built "The worlds fastest, street legal car" is an achievement, when you discover he did it in a lock up virtually in his spare time, then that is awe inspiring...
And here is a link to the build of the car that will hopefully regain his crown...

I've only gotten to page 10 upto yet but I read through those in one short sitting!
Figured this would be better placed here rather than in 'Car Chat' as I guess Red Victor is more a part of the builders life than just a car.

I love my Mrs and intend to spend the rest of my life with her, hopefully. Why should we need an expensive piece of paper to declare our intentions? And why should we be financially penalised for living together rather than living as a married couple?
I reckon it's to do with the lure of boobs, they have to hold an attraction for both males and females ,to do with breast feeding!I wonder is there any Gay OOF members on here ? ...Personally i'm against it, The thought of 2 men together is sickening to say the least (but) 2 women hmmmSo, 2 gay men is sickening but 2 gay women is acceptable?
If we accept that religion is more a business than anything else then the church surely has the right to deal with customers how it likes.Not really because the 'Church' in our society has (or maybe HAD) a powerful influence on how every day people live their lives.

Although you do occasionally make a valid point...What most people tend to lose sight of is this one fact: Most ordinary, everyday folk are racist, sexist and homophobic. Just accept that fact and things will become much more clear.Life of all types on this planet does seem brutal and harsh and if we (mankind) weren't arguing about sky fairies (no pun intended), or skin colour, or trying to batter some weaker individual then we'd probably all top our selves...
Oh.....and the introduction of laws to try to change what is basic human nature will fail....every time.

I once had a job working for Amtrak delivering parcels, they used to expect us to deliver live pigeons in small cardboard boxes, this was in amongst the other 80 odd regular deliveries (mostly chunks of metal as in and around the black country area), but we were always paid a nice little 'pigeon tax', is that similar?

As long as they don't chase me then I'm all for equality...
..also it is being rammed down our throats all the time...I do kind of object to the 'normalisation' of same sex relationships though (i.e. Eastenders, etc.) as I believe the whole point of existence is to procreate...

Maybe psychological because some may think four cats restricts the sound compared to two on the earlier cars?
