Hello and welcome to OOF :y Check any potential purchase everywhere for rust[rear arches,front chassis legs where the subframe attaches for two]cam belt change history is important other than that regular basic maintenance should see it reliable.Really nothing much difference to any car.

The gas[or whatever they are]that hold the bonnet open worth buying good used?The ones on mine won't hold the bonnet when it's cold[they seem fine at the present when the weather's warm.Are they the same for F/L as for earlier cars or did they change?

Local Ford stealer recently got a new exhaust testing machine and already do hook the car up to it using the OBD port.What this does/tells them I know not.
