Yup.

The blue cameras are digital and are a smarter :)

Sorry, but the cameras coloured blue simply monitor traffic flow.  Traffic master and other traffic systems use them and the information they generate for their traffic reports....  They are coloured blue in order to distinguish them from the speed cameras.

However, there is a new type of digital camera around they are mounted on a taller pole than the Gatso and these are digital, sending the images via an ADSL connection.

For more info about cameras - follow this link: http://speedcam.co.uk/index2.htm

This is what i meant by the blue camera:

These are speed cameras and are digital, they don't need lots of markings in the road, just very 2 slim lines in the road.

These ones are digital, and do not run out of film.

Yup.

Speed cameras are not as smart as they want us to belive.

As Fin says they take 2 photos, the older grey type cameras which are Gatso's both photos have to be compared by hand by someone. They then count the number of lines your passed between each photo.....

The blue cameras are digital and are a smarter, but again take 2 photos

since you were crawling your fine dude.  :)

you could always mount a small camera on the back parcel shelf, and record it yourself.. along with the reg plate.

£600 per side!  :o

And I was fussing over a £200 cat back system, with geniune GM parts for mine!  ;D

Very good point, something worth mentioning though. That Which? car guide i talked about before, although they complained about the Omega, it was in the 'Luxury' section, along with big Jag's and 7 series....

I'm going to make enquiries about this tomorrow:

http://www.specialistcars.net/newspecialistcars/carpages/05.htm

You seam to get a hell of a lot of car there for you money!

Looks very tidy as well and looked after.

I have been in a 728, and it does't hang about. Ok so its not the fastest out of the blocks, but who cares?

To be honest if your in the market for a 7 Series, you not looking for pace?

Looks good, although servicing maybe high, and those tyres don't look cheap!

I'd be happy to own that though, and i suspect its fast enough.... just not quick enough for Paul!  ;)

hummm thats acually quite nice!! Not too sure on the bling bling wheels.

Always liked the looks of the new RR's.

The interiors are nice too, you don't have car seats in the new RR. You have armchairs!

« on: 06 September 2006, 18:02:50 »
Sorry no experiance with LPG so can't really say.

However as for the filter, the direction is they way they want it go though the filter if you get what i mean.

I assume there is some kind of gauze or metal filter in there? The LPG is designed to go in one way get filter and continue on...

Personally i would not switch it around, just don't know what kind of damage it could do?

But i guess Martin is best to comment...
