Long live the British royal family........every Greek and German of them.
Please play nicely. No one wants to listen/read a keyboard warriors rants....
LC?
I wonder how long it will be before many of those on here who have moved on from Omegas will be saying, I should of kept that, look what they are worth now, I could get 20 Daewoos for that.
As a big comfortable, practical car, which will cover high miles, but tend to rot away, I'm sure 3.0/3.2 MV6 / Elite Omegas will become classics in there own right.
Dont intend on getting rid of mine , no rot yet but even if it does it will be cut out and repaired Give it another 15 years and folk will be paying high prices for them
Yep.....apart from gold coloured PFL models.
Unless its got the MV badge
.....on the other hand, I hear that Pug 106's are becoming highly sought after and are attracting big money.
You will telling us that Corsa's with dodgy clutches are very rare, sought after and expensive, but you might just be able to get your hands on one at the right price if anybody is interested.
Indeed I will, Mr Rods.
It's a little known secret at present, but please believe me when I say that Corsa C prices are about to go through the roof.
I give you my word as a gentleman.
My Korean dream machine is driving perfectly at the moment. It is not in need of a clutch. Nor does it need any balloons attaching to its suspension, which apparently cost about the same as a decent omega
Decent omega? A contradiction in terms, methinks.
Dacia is Rumanian, Daewoo is Korean
I think you will find Dacia are renowned for their reliability, superb electrics and cheap component level spares. Did I mention that they are a subsidiary of Renault.
Dacia is Rumanian, Daewoo is Korean ::)
I think you may find this is more of a wind-up to a certain non-miggy owner than a genuine question
Its a three to four hour job when done on the drive.[/highlight]
Then you need full clutch kit of a decent make (including salve), brake fluid and gearbox oil.
So got to be about 120-150 in bits alone.
Cant see when I would have the time to do it at the moment either

Yeah. Wussie boyOh......he's gone.....no pleasing some people...
Probably got knocked out with a laptop....
Wow2 hours I got relieved of £550 for that job from an indy Vauxhall main dealer wanted the best part of £800 What annoyed me the most is that Vauxhall knew of this issue for years and did nothing, you can see the new seal is a lot better than the original, though still a rubbish design all round. Looking to replace next year with a Corsa D or the Fiesta, I know for sure that the Corsa D does not have the issue as it is a different design.
