6 bolts and the big nut for the wheel end ?
Welcome to OOF
Six bolts to the hub and they pop out of the diff
Believe they're the same. Diff ratio shouldn't matter

.....
I had a thing for these cars long before Nige Entwood took the plunge.
......
Whatever happened to Nige?
Hmm... Decisions, decisions...
Thanks lads
Did a bit of research this morning (MOT's ect) before work and decided to scratch this one firmly off the list.
Got offered a very honest A6 Allroad last night for 3 grand but the 600 quid road tax made me cry
With the omega's MOT up in September, I always get the temptation to jump at this time of year.
The omega's rear nearside driveshaft has started clicking away on monday when driving back from a dirty weekend away in Scarborough.
Luckily i've got a 3.7 diff and 2 dry shafts on the breaker which is my job for the weekend which should hopefully keep her fit for the summer pikey van season but sooner or later she is going to have to go :'(
'dangle berries', why is owning cars so frustrating
....tell me about it.
£630 to be exact.
The other consideration with some XC90s and most CRVs is that they are wwd not awd*, so not so great for towing.
* I know the R280Cdi is only two wheel drive, but at least it is the back wheels.
At least we can still own and drive them
For now...
Thought the question was whether '07 ish Honda CRV diesels / petrols are any good? The list of requirements potentially rules out the smaller SUVs such as the Honda/Rav4 etc.
The previous question was about XC90s, so the R Class isn't that far out of the box
My wife had a '61 plate CRV 2.2 D-TEC EX auto from new; after 7 years she sold it after it clocked 107k. One of the most reliable cars she has ever owned, very comfortable, and deceptionally spacious inside. She loved it, and still went on about it 12 months after it went.
Not the nicest looking of cars, but from a reliablity point of view - couldn't fault it. Only thing that failed on it in 7 years was a parking sensor, which was replaced under warranty.
If you can stretch to one, I'd recommend going for the later D-TEC, rather than the CDTi - an improvement engine wise.

Any good ?depends what you want to do with it ....
I have a 2012 d5 which i think has the more powerful emgine than the one you are looking at, 31-35mpg over 15 miles of very mixed roads twice a day, massive and not fast, very slow to get moving but once on the move plenty fast enough.
I have only had mine a couple of months but love it so far.
Cheers
Chris
I believe that IanU on here has/had one so I'm sure he'll respond if he sees this.
