cheaper to get another engine-than car-keep throttle body from original engine---saves programming on tech 2--if drive by wire--and engine change isnt hard on a four pot-try a v6 att winter outside--i did--but im nuts ;D ;D

if top rad hose balloons up when engine hot--could be head or wrong gasket--ie cheap pattern one

It is normal to get some steam when you remove filler cap from a hot/running engine. And mayo is formed to the cap when you drive short trips so condension water mixes with breathing fumes and forms mayo on filler cap :)
mainly on v6 not so much on four

not being funny but leak could be inlet manifold or maybe a crack in head that opens when hot

General Car Chat / bonnet flipped up !!!
« on: 18 October 2014, 14:50:51 »
Yep luckily it was the rat--not miggy--somebody pulled bonnet pins out--I didn't notice >:( went down road at about 50 mph-up it went--2x hinges bent and bonnet too :( :( DO not try this at home nor on a miggy-----
however hammer/welder and hot rod  ingenuity sorted it-oh and 2x plasters ---no animals were hurt in this production ;D ;D ;D ;D
culprit

fix-2x plasters after hammer and big boot to straighten bonnet

how it looks after repair-

not the approved method yed if you need to ask you wouldn't understand---its a rat thing ;D ;D ;D

I've been selling stuff on ebay recently and have used Hermes who seem really good!  :y

You can drop parcels off at participating local corner shops some of which are open till 10pm and they're much cheaper than the Post Office.  :y

Although I've got a bit of an issue with a buyer at the moment as he's never in and the parcel needs to be signed for.  ::)  I think he's going to try to pin the blame on me for the non delivery!  ::)

Only just found that out the other day , great idea and saves queuing in the post office  :y Not sure they would be pleased at dropping off a gearbox to post though  :D ;D
only if you drain oil out ;D ;D
